DEE Assam Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 228 Special Educator Posts
Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released two official notifications for the recruitment of 228 Special Educator Posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official DEE Assam recruitment portal.
The online application process starts on 28th August 2025 and will continue till 30th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Recruitment
Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)
- Unreserved: 18 to 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
- OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
- PwD: up to 50 years
Other Conditions
- Small Family Norms: Candidates with more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 are not eligible.
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification
For Special Educator (LP School):
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, and
- 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Must possess ATET/CTET certificate for LP Schools.
For Special Educator (UP School):
- Graduate with at least 50% marks, and
- B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI.
- Must possess ATET/CTET certificate for UP Schools.
Medium of Instruction: Either Language-I or Language-II in ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.
