Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an official notification for the Combined Competitive Examination (Main), 2024 for the recruitment of 289 Group A posts under various departments of the Assam Government. Candidates who have qualified in the Preliminary Examination held on 8th June 2025 can apply online from 22nd July to 5th August 2025.

The APSC CCE is a prestigious exam for appointments to services like Assam Civil Service, Assam Police Service, Inspector of Taxes, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 38 years

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.

  • Must be an Indian Citizen and original inhabitant of Assam.
  • Must be able to speak Assamese or any other official/traditional language of the State.
  • Must be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.
  • Must submit a Small Family Norms Declaration (Form-A).
