Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject from a recognized board or university as per The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002 (as amended).
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025):
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST (P) & ST (H): 5 years
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the following:
Weightage Distribution:

PAT Details:
- PAT will consist of questions on Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General Awareness (state & national importance).
- 5 questions will be asked by each member of the Selection Board.
- Each question carries 4 marks.
Final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks.
